💎 Accelerate® Platinum on Graphitic Carbon (Pt/C) Catalyst

1. Product Introduction
Platinum supported on Vulcan XC-72 has been widely recognized as a standard catalyst for various oxidation and reduction reactions in both acidic and alkaline electrolytes, and is an ideal material for process feasibility studies.

However, under harsh conditions such as highly acidic media or high potential cycling, conventional catalysts can suffer from carbon corrosion, leading to activity loss and reduced catalytic performance.

To address this, the Accelerate® Platinum on Graphitic Carbon catalyst uses a High Durable Graphitic Carbon (HDGC) support, which offers excellent resistance to carbon corrosion and oxidative degradation. Even on the graphite surface, the catalyst maintains small Pt crystallite sizes, providing higher electrochemical surface area (ECSA) and long-term stability.

The Accelerate® catalyst series is developed using innovative patented technologies, significantly enhancing the performance and durability of PEM fuel cells. Independent laboratory testing shows up to twofold higher performance compared to conventional catalysts, with excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for high-demand automotive fuel cell and durable electrochemical applications.

High Durable Graphitic Carbon is a highly graphitized carbon material with enhanced durability, conductivity, and oxidation resistance.
