A glass sample-mounting solution for powders, films, sheet specimens, and micro-volume samples. Available with square wells, round wells, sealed structures, standard dimensions, and non-standard customization. Precisely defined wells and a flat surface support sample loading, leveling, sealing, and repeatable positioning.
Universal XRD Sample Holder is designed for powders, particles, slurries, films, and sheet specimens. The well shape, well depth, and body dimensions can be selected according to the sample volume and testing method.
Transparent glass makes the loading condition easy to inspect, while the flat surface helps control sample height and reduce measurement deviations caused by uneven loading.
Confirm the dimensions accepted by the instrument before selecting the well opening and depth. For powder samples, keep the sample surface level with the instrument reference plane.
For sealing, holes, special body shapes, or ultra-shallow wells, provide a dimensional drawing before ordering.
The sample holder is manufactured from optical glass with a flat, transparent surface for inspecting sample coverage, loading uniformity, and residue inside the well.
It is suitable for routine XRD analysis of solid, powder, particle, film, and sheet specimens.

Confirm that the holder fits the instrument tray and does not alter the required measurement height.
Use lint-free wipes and a compatible cleaning method. Dry completely before loading.
Add the sample gradually and avoid voids, raised areas, or tilted surfaces.
Confirm that the sample surface is level and centered before starting the measurement.
Provide body length, width or diameter, total thickness, well shape, opening dimensions, well depth, well-center position, and any required holes.
Specify the target instrument, tray constraints, sample form, expected loading volume, tolerances, and required sealing or edge-treatment details.
Either shape can be used for powders. Square wells efficiently use the available area, while round wells are suitable for circular locating features or disc-shaped samples.
No. Well depth should match the sample volume and measurement requirements. Excessive depth increases sample consumption.
Sealed holders are suitable for samples that scatter easily, require protective covering, or need reduced environmental exposure.
No. These glass holders are not designed for vacuum, heating, or pressure applications.
A sample surface offset from the reference plane changes the measurement geometry and may introduce peak-position deviations.
Yes. Remove residue after use and inspect the holder for cracks, chips, contamination, or remaining sample material.
Yes. Provide the tray dimensions, locating features, permitted thickness, well position, and critical tolerances.
Standard options are available through our online stores. Assistance is available for confirming well shape, instrument compatibility, and custom requirements.
