Aluminum Alloy XRD Sample Holders

Powder sample support solutions for X-ray diffraction measurements, supporting surface leveling and repeatable positioning. Square and circular recess designs are available in 50 × 35 mm, 55 × 35 mm and Φ50 mm overall formats.

Aluminum Alloy Body Square Recess Circular Recess 0.5 mm Shallow Recess Options Multiple Holder Formats
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Product Overview

Aluminum alloy XRD sample holders support the loading and positioning of powders, granules and small quantities of solid samples. Defined recess geometry limits the sample loading area and helps maintain consistent measurement surface height across batches.

Options include common recess sizes of 5, 10, 15 and 20 mm, plus a larger Φ25 × 1 mm circular recess. Overall dimensions include 50 × 35 × 2 mm, 55 × 35 × 2 mm and Φ50 × 3 mm.

Key Selection Checks
Confirm the recess shape, opening dimensions, recess depth, overall dimensions, total thickness and instrument mounting orientation. The same recess opening combined with different overall dimensions represents a different specification.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I choose between square and circular recesses?

Square recesses provide a regular loading area, while circular recesses help concentrate the sample. Choose according to the instrument's beam footprint, sample quantity and established measurement method.

Are 50 × 35 mm and 55 × 35 mm holders directly interchangeable?

Interchangeability should not be assumed. Check the instrument's sample position length, locating edges and actual mounting orientation.

Why can holders with the same recess size have different prices or specifications?

Different overall dimensions, total thicknesses or recess shapes represent different specifications, even when the opening size is the same. Select according to the complete dimensional description.

When should I choose a Φ25 × 1 mm circular recess?

It is suitable for measurements requiring a larger loading area or a deeper sample space. Confirm the available sample quantity and the instrument's effective illuminated area.
