CERAMIC SUBSTRATE XRD SAMPLE HOLDER

Ceramic Substrate XRD Sample Holder

A ceramic substrate with a square sample recess for mounting powders, granules and small quantities of solid samples during X-ray diffraction measurements. Designed to support structural stability, a defined loading area and repeatable positioning.

Ceramic Substrate 17 × 17 mm Square Recess 1 mm Recess Depth 50 × 50 mm Overall Format Consistent Sample Loading
PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Product Overview

This ceramic substrate XRD sample holder supports powder or granular samples while helping maintain a consistent loading area, surface height and mounting position during measurement. The 17 × 17 mm square recess provides a regular sample area and facilitates surface leveling.

The 50 × 50 × 3 mm overall format is intended for corresponding sample positions or clamping arrangements. A 1 mm recess depth provides loading space for routine powder measurements.

Before Ordering
Confirm the instrument's sample position, the 50 × 50 × 3 mm overall dimensions, the 17 × 17 × 1 mm square recess, mounting orientation and clamping method. Do not judge compatibility from the recess opening alone.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this holder compatible with every XRD instrument?

Universal compatibility should not be assumed. Check the instrument's sample position, the 50 × 50 × 3 mm overall dimensions, mounting orientation and clamping method.

What does the 1 mm dimension in 17 × 17 × 1 mm mean?

It indicates the square recess depth. Control the loading condition according to sample quantity, absorption characteristics and measurement method.

Does the square recess need to be completely filled?

Ensure adequate coverage of the effective measurement area and maintain a flat surface. Whether the recess should be completely filled depends on sample quantity and the experimental method.

How can I reduce cross-contamination?

Clean the recess promptly after each use and store it separately once completely dry. Dedicated holders can be used for different material systems.
