Use & Storage

  1. Check Product Information: Check that the diameter, concentration, volume and batch details on the bottle meet your experimental requirements.
  2. Check Dispersion Condition: If sedimentation is observed, use an appropriate redispersion method following the batch recommendations. Validate sonication, vortexing and other treatment conditions for the particle condition.
  3. Sample After Uniform Dispersion: Confirm uniform dispersion before sampling. Use clean tools and promptly reseal the container to reduce contamination and solvent evaporation.
  4. Check Compatibility First: Before adding other solvents or salts, or adjusting pH, test a small sample and observe any changes in particle morphology and dispersion condition.
  5. Follow the Storage Label: Follow the actual bottle label and batch instructions for temperature and other storage requirements. Avoid freezing.

FAQ

1. Are these products powders or dispersions?

This page lists PLGA micro- and nanosphere dispersions, with package volumes stated in mL. PLGA powder is a separate product form and should be selected from the corresponding product page.

2. Do the 5mL and 10mL packages have the same concentration?

Yes. All variants on this page have a stated concentration of 10mg/mL and differ in package volume. Tables are grouped by size, with separate retail prices in the 5mL and 10mL columns.

3. Can a size range be interpreted as a fixed particle size?

No. The 20–30μm, 50–60μm and 80–100μm options each specify a size range. For options with a single nominal diameter, refer to the batch test documentation for the actual size distribution.

4. Can the supernatant be sampled directly after sedimentation?

To sample at the stated concentration, first restore a uniform dispersion using an appropriate method. Sampling only the supernatant after sedimentation may give a particle content that differs from the stated concentration.

5. Are carboxyl or amino modifications, or drug loading, included by default?

The listed variants do not specify these functionalization or drug-loading treatments. Confirm any requirements for specific surface groups, fluorescent labeling or other modifications before purchasing.

6. How can the copolymer ratio and molecular weight be confirmed?

These parameters are not provided in the current variant table. If your experiment requires a particular copolymer ratio, molecular weight or end group, confirm the relevant batch documentation before purchasing.

7. What information is needed for a purchasing inquiry?

Provide the complete variant name, quantity and experimental application. Include any additional requirements for the medium, particle size distribution or storage conditions.
