Applications & Selection

First determine the optical detection method, then select the diameter, package volume and concentration. Distinguish fluorescence color from the visible appearance of the dispersion.

Standard Fluorescent Microspheres

Blue, green and red series are available for fluorescence tracing, imaging and flow cytometry research. Match the excitation source, emission filter and instrument detection channel when selecting a variant.

Eu Fluorescent Microspheres

For research on europium fluorescence and time-resolved fluorescence methods. Select the variant according to its spectrum and instrument settings; a color name alone does not establish suitable detection conditions.

Red Colored Microspheres

For color tracing, particle models and materials research. Select colored microspheres by color. Their visible color does not imply fluorescence emission performance, and they cannot directly replace red fluorescent variants.

Sizes & Retail Prices

Select the optical type and color, then a specific diameter to view its package volumes, concentrations and retail prices. All prices are in USD per package.

FAQ

What is the difference between fluorescent and colored microspheres?

Fluorescent microspheres are used to detect fluorescence signals under suitable excitation conditions. Colored microspheres are used for color-based observation and tracing. Their color descriptions have different meanings, so this page lists their types and corresponding variants separately.

Does a green or red label mean the dispersion will look that color to the naked eye?

Color names in the fluorescent series mainly distinguish fluorescence types. They do not alone establish the appearance of the dispersion under ordinary lighting. Actual appearance depends on the material, concentration and viewing conditions; refer to the relevant product documentation.

Why can the same diameter have two prices?

After selecting the optical type, color and diameter, each table row shows a package volume and concentration, with its retail price on the right. Different package volumes or concentrations at the same diameter identify separate products.

How can I view variants of other types and diameters?

Select the blue fluorescent, green fluorescent, red fluorescent, Eu fluorescent or red colored category, then a specific diameter. Each selection displays 1–2 variants for that diameter. Use the buttons to view other products.
