CeTech GDL240 is a carbon paper with a Microporous Layer (MPL). It has a total thickness of 240 μm (microns). CeTech is a great low-cost alternative to conventional carbon paper Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) materials.

CeTech GDL240 is available in 10 x 10 cm, 20 x 20 cm, 30 x 30 cm or 40 x 40 cm sheets at this time.

Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) is a very important supporting material in a MEA, the heart of a fuel cell. GDL serves as a connect bridge between MEA and graphite plate, and the main functions of GDL include the followings:

1. A gas diffused pathway from flow channels to the catalyst layer.
2. Help removing by-produced water outside of the catalyst layer and prevent flooding.
3. Keep some water on surface for conductivity through the membrane.
4. Heat transfer during cell operation.
5. Provide enough mechanical strength to hold MEA from extension caused by water absorbance.

The CeTech Gas Diffusion Layer (GDL) is specially developed as a carbon fiber paper and carbon fiber cloth for PEMFC and DMFC fuel cell applications. And CeTech GDL has well performance in the fuel cell efficiency test. 1. ACS Nano Strain Relaxation in Metal Alloy Catalysts Steers the Product Selectivity of Electrocatalytic CO₂ Reduction

The bipolar membrane (Fumasep FBM) in this paper was purchased from SCI Materials Hub, which was used in rechargeable Zn-CO₂ battery tests. The authors reported a strain relaxation strategy to determine lattice strains in bimetal MNi alloys (M = Pd, Ag, and Au) and realized an outstanding CO₂-to-CO Faradaic efficiency of 96.6% with outstanding activity and durability toward a Zn-CO₂ battery.
