Choosing the right carbon substrate is crucial for electrochemical research. It influences gas/liquid transport, electronic conductivity, surface interactions, and overall stability. Our DiffuCarb® Series offers five carefully selected carbon cloths with diverse structures, thicknesses, and surface characteristics to support R&D, testing, and custom electrode fabrication.


DiffuCarb® RCC035|Industrial-Grade Plain Weave Cloth

  • Thickness: 0.35 mm  Basis Weight: 127 g/m²

  • Structure: Plain weave, uncoated, no MPL/PTFE

🔹 Key Features:

  • Tight industrial weave with low deformation under stress

  • Excellent dimensional stability and conductivity

  • Ideal for: Gas diffusion layers, electrothermal devices, long-term cell tests


DiffuCarb® RCC036|Versatile R&D Grade Cloth

  • Thickness: 0.36 mm  Basis Weight: 136 g/m²

  • Structure: Loosely woven, uncoated, no MPL/PTFE

  • Cost-effective choice for catalyst coating and lab optimization

  • High compressibility and process compatibility

DiffuCarb® RCC037|Flexible Plain Weave Cloth

  • Thickness: 0.37 mm  Basis Weight: 130 g/m²

  • Structure: Smooth and uniform, medium weave density, no surface treatment

  • Good flexibility and flat surface, suitable for tight assembly or membrane contact

  • Compatible with liquid-phase systems or structural layering

  • Ideal for: Electrolyzers, flow cells, composite electrodes


DiffuCarb® RCC040|High-Temperature Carbonized Cloth

  • Thickness: 0.40 mm  Basis Weight: 133 g/m²

  • Treatment: Carbonized >2000°C, ultra-high purity

  • Resistivity: <0.0015 Ω·cm

🔹 Key Features:

  • Excellent thermal and chemical stability

  • Clean surface ideal for CVD/CVI or coating applications

  • Ideal for: Carbon–carbon composites, high-temp electrodes, pyrolysis R&D


DiffuCarb® RCC060|Thick Support-Type Cloth

  • Thickness: 0.60 mm  Basis Weight: 143 g/m²

  • Treatment: Carbonized >2000°C, ultra-high purity

  • High areal weight and stiffness, suitable for support functions

  • Maintains strength under mechanical and thermal pressure

  • Ideal for: Stack pressure structures, layered electrodes, structural integration
